How It All Started
In 2020, brothers Akin and Okan had a bold vision: bring authentic Smash Burgers to Vienna. They were pioneers — among the very first to introduce this style of burger to Austria.
What started as a cozy 40-seat restaurant quickly earned a reputation that was impossible to ignore. Lines stretched out the door. Guests waited, happily. The word spread.
On April 13, 2024, Hotline 5 moved into its new home at Wiedner Hauptstraße 111 — a spacious, vibrant venue now welcoming up to 180 guests. The reason was simple: too many people deserved a seat.
Today, Hotline 5 is one of Vienna's most beloved burger destinations. The secret remains unchanged: fresh ingredients delivered daily, only the finest beef, and a passion for the perfect smash. Every. Single. Time.
